TBS Online is a powerful communication platform to deliver an excellent school experience to all the stakeholders of the ‘The Bishops School’ including the teachers, the parents and the students. The TBS Online is tightly coupled and integrated with The Bishop's School’s ERP system using web services.

The system allows the app s to receive messages and updates from the school using push notification. Besides messaging, the TBS Online App provides real-time access to school calendar, time table, daily homework, online payment, transportation, attendance, daily orders, grades etc.

The Push Notifications is implemented using different messaging servers. For Android, we used the GCM Server, for iPhone we have used the APNS Server and for Windows Phone, we have used the MPNS Server.

The App is very simple and easy to use, ensured access o school information system is secure.

• Ability to add profiles of the children studying or the school staff or both
• Ability to receive notifications for the messages sent by the school
• Single Sign-on. TBS Online app uses the same student code/staff credentials for receiving notifications
• Send and receive one-way mass messages / personalized messages to targeted recipient group (s) / individual(s)
• Ability to view the message details on clicking each message header
• Ability to view through the app, the real-time location of the school bus with GPS tracker devices, for all the relevant s availing the school bus service
• Real-time access to all related school information system data depending on the & the access credentials (s include parent, staff and parents who are staff as well)
• Maintain a history of all the messages received from the school
• Track message delivery and have incorporated intelligence to take appropriate action
• Access all parent, student and staff information

app crashes and doesn't allow s. it also doesn't have shortcut menu for frequently used features and you have to navigate every time for same features which is time taking as the application is quite slow as well.

For a couple of years or so the application was flawless and very efficient. But suddenly one day it started asking for verificarion code which i have never come across and app is not excepting the usual credentials as well. I did forgot sword and reinstalled the app but didnt help. The result is I am not able to track the notifications properly which is kind of frustrating ..

My phone does not show alerts for notifications anymore. I have tried clearing the cache, deleting the app storage as well as reinstalling the app. Update: Latest release on 12 Oct 2023 has fixed the above issue. But a new issue came up, the app gives an error "Permission denied.please go in App permissions and enable all permissions". Even after granting all permissions, it gives the same error. After reinstalling the app, it works the first time and then again starts giving the same error.

The app is good for my children. It actually is nice it usually has problems when there is a network issue from the school. Example, It shows network issue even though it's perfect the day it had a network issue my daughter said that it was same with some of the smart boards in the school. Basically it isn't a weird app.

This was a wonderful app till the last update came along. Now it crashes all the time making it unusable. Hence earlier 4 stars revised to 1 star. Edit 1: Now working fine with latest update. Edit 2: After latest update on 20/07/19 the app is asking for update. Even after updating/reinstalling from playstore the app continues tobprompt for update. As of now the app is unusable.

this app is good but whenever any update happens from apps end, it doesn't get auto updated on my phone. i have to uninstall it and reinstall the app. today when i have uninstalled it, its not getting installed. to confirm i tried installing other apps...they are getting installed without any issues. pls help.

Please do needful..App is not working efficiently..most of the time it says we are not able to get the information..sometimes connectivity issue..my internet connection is fine as rest all the apps are working.. only this app I am not able to see information..I am not able to see worksheets and other notice..this is my second time review for the same problem.. please do needful for the same.

Excellent one-stop info available anytime..fees..attendance.. practice worksheets..time-table!! The latest update is detailed and many tabs included for reference. Excellent work again👍 *New Update July'19* Very simplified with new tabs n TBS, helps navigating n procurring info with more ease and is time saving!!
