Ruined. A few years ago, instaweather used to be great, choose the overlays, and then share to wherever, usually a messaging app for us. But now, as soon as you save an image, a full screen ad comes up that you have to sit through, which is then difficult to move past. I had to go to home screen then run the app again, and then there is no way to share it, which isdumb. I had to take a screen shot, then crop it and then share that. Looks like the app was taken over by complete morons.

i paid for the original app. since the 'upgrade' temperature stats are not showing, surely the point of this thing? im supposedly able to use the app regardless of whether i bought the original, but this is definitely not the case. have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. still doesn't work. not happy and not impressed.

I think the app is great! I use it almost daily to share my weather!!! Plus it's neat seeing other areas of the world too. However lately when I go to take a picture, it takes the picture, has the add and before I got to share it, it flips my picture. I'm unsure how to correct this ?

I purchased the previous iteration of this app, back when subscriptions were not a thing. That version is now abandoned, weather is no longer working (i.e. Always shows 0°C) and if I want to take a weather shot, now I have to use this one iteration, without any of what I paid. Horrible care for their customers, don't recommend.

The weather info is wrong as it sends the wrong location coordinates to DarkSky. The app has location permissions and my device is in high accuracy mode. I have a screenshot showing the wrong location and the correct location from another app that I can share with the developers for help if they want. The earlier Instaweather app used to work perfectly for me.

It is very annoying that you push for every time I open the app. Will that front page ever stop ? (Yes, I know I can "skip" it). Besides, I dont want to sign in and share, I am keeping this for myself only - any way to get rid of this "sign in" banner? Also, I wonder where weather data comes from - very often totally wrong e.g. today the app says overcast, but we have the bluest open sky. Temperature is usually OK. Despite my comments above, this app does something no other app does - weather overlay / free text / changeable temp / location manual or in the app - therefore I will continue to use it !!!

I used to LOVE this app. Got hit with my annual subscription last month, then found out it's the old version, and after several attempts to the developer about my Pro moving to the new one, have had nothing but radio silence. Old version doesn't even work right anymore. Pay at your own risk!
