It was working perfectly, and all of a sudden there are no pronounciations. It says text-to-speech not working. Some issue with the App, the text-to-speech on my phone is working with all other Apps. Team needs to work on this bug. UPDATE: Team worked on an update and now it's working perfectly. Kudos. 👌 Nice App. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The app is super useful. I keep it open during German class and whenever there is new vocabulary I add it to my word list. A few suggestions: 1) Always show english nouns with the word "the" or "a" to force thinking about the article (the article coloring is great!). 2) Include common phrases, or make it easy to add them (als ich, seit wann). 3) Stretch goal: create some clever flashcards to help with grammar (which case does 'mit' take, what's the adjective endings for various cases).

Best, best, BEST language learning app! It has everything I want in an app. I am thrilled! You choose how many words you want to learn a day & it gives you the words & hides definitions - you touch to see. It also gives you spelling practice & pronounces the words so you can hear the correct pronunciation. Better still, the app will review you periodically on words you know. I'm recapturing my former fluency but it's also good for beginners. Fantastisch!!!

Straightforward vocabulary building flashcards with all the options I want and nothing that is annoying to use. I especially like the option to choose whether to spell the word or pick from four. I also like the reminders and find them to be well spaced in time. Importantly, this app includes the definite article with the nouns, so that you learn them together.

Does one thing and does it well. Everything is streamlined, notifications are useful, and the app doesn't get in your way while you're trying to study. Very reasonable ad frequency. The free version caps at 5 new words/day, plus review, but that's plenty to get started, and it's surprisingly cheap to upgrade.

I used this for German and Spanish, and it's invaluable for vocab. I especially like the hands-free mode, although it desperately needs an option to ignore words that have one review left. The time frame before the last review is so long that the hands-free mode will take forever as it covers over a months worth of words.

This app is perfect in every way except how limited the vocab is for the free version, and I saw someone else say you don't exactly get your money's worth of vocab if you pay either. Keep specific helpful features from us if you want to entice people into paying for , don't completely gatekeep the app behind a paywall. Also wouldn't hurt to be upfront about that paywall from the beginning. :)

using the full version, it's SO good. -love en>de or de>en switching option. -love adding new words and creating my own groups. when you create a new card, the automatic suggestions are very hepful. the search and "add to category" function also practical so you can avoid creating duplicates. -love the hands free mode. the pause between en-de actualy lets you exercise. the speed function also helps. -love all the setting options on how you want to exercise/full list sorting/dark mode etc.
