Appy Weather is the most personal weather app because it's been designed for humans by someone who actually checks the weather too. By summarising the weather in plain-spoken & -friendly language via its one-of-a-kind Timeline screen, Appy Weather sets itself apart from all other weather apps — no more scrolling long lists to figure out the weather as it's now summarised for you in a few lines and makes checking the weather fast, easy and actually fun! That said, there are more conventional hourly & daily views if that's what you prefer.
Appy Weather's hyperlocal accurate forecasts are powered by AerisWeather, Apple Weather, OpenWeather and Foreca.

I like how they display data, but in the last few days, it's become comically inaccurate with precipitation levels. For example, today we got a fine layer of ice and sleet, but the app said 6 inches of snow. Saturday it's saying over 6 inches but every other forecast is saying around 1 inch. It's just way off lately. Looking for a new app.

There is a whole lot to like about the app. I really like the detailed approach to its content and its customisable features and notifications (off by default, which is cool) and the data is awesome. Hats off to the developers! Unfortunately the widget text-clipping in Android is a deal-breaker for me. I see that it is a known issue and being worked on so I have paid for one subscription cycle, but without a able widget UI, I unsubscribed. Will check back later :)

I like the app. Eventhough I am a fan of serif fonts on paper, it looks odd on the display, especially an read. It would be great if there was an option to switch. Edit: thanks for the quick reply. The other options would be great too in addition to roboto. Another suggestion would be to add colours to the timeline. Yellow for sunny, white for snow, blue for rain. A glance would suffice in that case to say what's gonna happen next hour next days.

Pretty good, but issues. One problem: the app is saving locations on its own, including multiple entries with the same city name. So when I look at my saved locations, it's a huge list of places I don't want, with repetitions to boot.

great forecasting but I just can't seem to be able to the Plus version. the app crashes each time I try - have been trying for over a week. I did email the developer but didn't get a reply

Edit: Might have been the battery saver settings. The launcher was probably the issue. Though I removed saving from the app and the launcher. Thanks dev! Not bad, but widget doesn't update. I can click the widget to open the app and you can see an updated forecast. But the widget never updates. I've tried all the frequency options.

The app structure, simplicity, personalization and interface are great. The data source is horrible. The data source says it is heavily raining. Actually, the sun is shining with about 50% cloud cover. I will keep the app and keep my annual subscription because I appreciate what what you are attempting to accomplish. Unfortunately, I must use a different app for accurate weather data. UPDATE: Changed my rating to 5 stars. More accurate than I 1st believed.

I like this app. Clean and simple. Few things though! Would love the nav bar to match the app body in the light theme. Also...the weather icons in the app...options would be awesome. Edit: Thanks for the reply! Yes the system Nav Bar for light and dark themes. And AWESOME! More font and icon options are always great. Any way notifications can be similar to that app that left Android s high and dry? Again, GREAT WORK!!!
