Best tone trainer I’ve found. When I started studying Chinese a while ago, I was tripped up by tones. Tried to ignore them but realized I would never be able to communicate if I didn’t properly understand tones. I’m very glad I found this app. After just a few days of use, I find the whole concept really starting to click in my brain. I can hear the difference between tones much more clearly now. This app has now become part of my daily study routine and the best part, it is super fun to use!

Nice intro to tones in Mandarin. Comparing two tones at a time is a nice idea. It was a bit distracting though, with the ads and monthly payment popup and slow score screen and having to create .

So far good. It teaches both listening and speaking.Ads are not annoying. It pops up only after you complete a level. My only request is to add a flashcard feature for the words previously learned ,so that we can do a quick review.

Just ed it an hour ago and am already having fun with it. Took me that long to get perfect on only the first 2 levels (out of 150). I'm really enjoying how it changes it up just as you grow complacent, leading me to scold myself and try harder the next time.

Fun with attractive and easy-to-follow visuals! A good variation of learning the tones: sounds, images, symbols, etc.

This app is working well for practicing tones so far. I only miss an option to change to traditional characters. Please add this feature!

Learning Chinese tones is hard without a teacher. I like that this app gamifies it. I can already hear tones better. The app tests speaking once in a while and grades you on consonants, vowels, and tones, which I LOVE. No other app does that. But you rarely speak. I wish I could choose to drill just speaking. I also wish I could turn off pinyin. I want to be able to say and hear the words/tones correctly from listening and seeing the characters, without relying on pinyin. Overall, A+!

Great app, the only complaints are at the live system. Otherwise a lovely app that's helpful to learn Chinese tones
