When all is working properly, this is a great app. However, quality has steadily deteriorated over the past year and a half. Increasingly buggy, with app freezing and restarting repeatedly. With paid subscription, sync feature has not worked in over 6 months. , especially for a paid subscription app, is borderline non-existent.

I really like the app, especially the ability to communicate with a Botanist if necessary. Only drawback: An unit preference isn't available, therefore I have to deal with inches and Farenheit at certain areas of the app - in others cm and degree Celsius are available though.. Also hardiness zones are also a foreign concept to me, might be good if an explanation would be readily available for that.

I think the app is great and I can finally keep houseplants alive. However, if I miss a day my reminder becomes hidden and then I have to click each plant individually to look for the one I missed, assuming I . I find this a bit clunky and would like to see missed waterings in one place before I renew my subscription again next year. The point of this app is to make it easier for us to water plants, not add an additional step.

The app's good for learning more about the plants, recognizing new ones and setting watering reminders. I think it falls shorts in of diseases and fixing them. It'd also should probably automatically adjust the watering and fertilizing reminders depending on the season and climate of where you are in the world - it wouldn't be too hard to achieve. All in all, it's okay but could do a bit more to help new owners out.

I like the app since it's quite specific when it comes to adding plants and has great info on all kinds of things. However, you really expect people to deal with Fahrenheit and inches when it's only one county that uses those units.. won't be purchasing the pro version for that reason.

Love it so far. The only issue is that I don't get reminders for watering my plans. I checked in the app and the "allow notifications" feature. Everything is set to receive reminders, they just don't work for me. Any troubleshooting advice is welcome.

The app doesn't send notifications reliably which is pretty terrible. Also there's no logic to move a reminder to next day if I forgot to water my plants, so if I skip one time the schedule doesn't readjust which is also quite a shame. Otherwise it's a nice app but the most important feature is not working properly.

At $20/year the app is fine. It provides a good reminder for watering and fertilizing and it is OK at plant identification. But the reality is that the schedules are hard to adjust and tend to lead to watering too frequently and with too little water. When the plant has trouble, the answer is ALWAYS "over watering" and it has never been the problem, yet. Now they want $70/year. That is comical. Hard . I will just have Alexa set some reminders and Google it when I have problems.
