As I fan of TD games I like this one but it has its issues. Great maps, worlds, towers, levels, heroes, and graphics. However it relies on ads waaaay too much and some levels/enemies are incredibly difficult to beat/kil and the heroes only gain experience if you beat the level (veeery slow progress at times.) Also there are too many options and spending money does not guarantee progress. The heroes to get are Satan, scorch blaze and Brion (I have not unlocked Waylin.) Don't get andor or cercle.

Keeps me busy. Sometimes it requires patience, but that makes it easier to integrate into the rest of my life. I wish there was a single button (hit again to confirm) that would put it into pause mode and return to "desktop" without losing one's place in the game. In general, the battles are fun, and finding/achieving upgrades are satisfying, but sometimes frustrating. It has adequately filled the empty times in my life.

Graphic is pretty much like Kingdom Rush (many tower defense games out there copy Kingdom Rush style). Pretty unique idea of stacking towers. So, let's go through them. Pretty basic, 1 army, 1 siege, 1 magic, 1 archer. You mostly only need siege and archer. When you stack them, your siege will have a huge range. Magic tower, take the one that can convert enemy to attack each other. Magic tower combine stacked with something will get "speed" boost, but that's useless because it only happens once in a while (the speed boost, that is). Combining any tower with archer will give you permanent range boost, so that's the best one. This game lost 2 stars from me due to the mechanic of enemies' pathing. Pathing is really important, yet this game has bugs in it. Most of them just "phase" through my armies and heroes without acknowledging them. Lost many lives in many games due to this. The enemies didn't get stopped by my armies. Kinda wanted to the game as well by purchasing some heroes, but given this pathing issues, it kinda pushes me not to somehow....

I want to see how much money and time the positive reviews spent on the game! One of the most egregious examples of forced pay to win I've ever seen. On level 11 they have a map with an area your champion can't reach and there are not enough tower slots to stop the enemy mobs. The solution? Pay $0.99 to unlock a champion trapped in a cage up there. If that is not obvious enough, the cage bounces over and over during the match as you are losing, trying to get you to pay up before it's game over

Ok. People were complaining about unfair gameplay so I actually didn't spend a penny. (I usually get beginner packs and bonuses early since that's when they are most useful.) Yeah, it's tough but I went to 11 to see what the fuss was - yes you can cross the chasm with your hero. Just advance slowly. And you get the wolf free once you win that level. You don't need to buy it. Okay, so that's settled, I'm buying stuff now. (Again, it's hard but not impossible.)

The gameplay mechanics are great. Combining tower types is a great ability that sets this game apart from other tower defense apps. I haven't felt any need to purchase anything so far in order to win, so that's a win. The downside is the grammar; sometimes the English translation is so bungled that you can't understand the directions. Doesn't make much of a difference on gameplay though, just makes the game feel cheaper.

This is a love letter to Kingdom Rush. Interesting addition to the TD genre, with the quirk of being able to stack two towers in one spot. It scratches exactly the itch that kingdom Rush scratches, and it does not force you to watch any ads (although it encourages it, with rewards.) I'm just 12 stages in, but there's been no grinding so far to get 3* on normal stages, but failure can happen if you don't anticipate things correctly. Really enjoying this!

I was completely in to the game until i unlocked world 2 and saw the towers didn't change. I don't think it's fun having to unlock all the previous features you already had, it feels completely unrewarding. Got completely uninterested with the game knowing the towers don't change like in Realm Defense, guess I'll keep waiting for world 7. Oh and the pricing with the expensive heroe currently is insane, 40 dollars is way too much for the Old Warrior.
