So frustrating. Unlike others I've been able to just fine, but I can't book a rental. In fact, I enter the location, dates, and times, and then it errors out. I've tried reinstalling and still no improvement. It's been like this for at least a year. I had to book thru the web in January and in June, too.

It's great to find and book rentals, but the app itself is very glitchy. As soon as you iconize the app, it will go back to the booking screen when you open it again. You will need to restart what you were doing, like adding flight information to your reservation. In addition, the app will have trouble logging in, and some functions will even take you out of the app and into a browser. I have had to uninstall the app and reinstall it multiple times just to try to get it to work properly.

Worked fine back in July. Not any longer. It won't let me any longer. Everything is fine using the website directly. I've even wrote to the developers about the issue, and crickets. I've tried everything, including removing the app, and reinstalling. UPDATE: Still no luck with the recent update. Hasn't worked for two months now. Recent update still hasn't fixed the problem. Nothing has changed since the last time it worked in July.

Well yet another month has gone by and the Hertz app team STILL hasn't fixed the repeated issues with the app, despite negative reviews from a multitude of s about the inability simply to the app. I haven't been able to to the app in over 6 MONTHS despite using correct credentials. No issues with the web , but apps keeps saying "We are experiencing service issues, please try again later" error message for over 6 MONTHS now. FIX THE APP!!!!

Unfortunately, i had made a reservation for a car in advance online. On the day of pick up, i was notified there are no cars at this location or any other Hertz location because they sent all the cars to Tampa. As a Five Star member, they should at least that they have no cars. I planned a weekend at attractions, hotels, etc. So thanks to Hertz, the plans have since been vacated.

I have constant issues with g in, and it is just with Hertz. It's not Avis, it's not National, it's not United, it's not Marriott. It's just Hertz. Just now the app declined my fingerprint, I can't sign in with my , and the reset link gives an oops your page made a wrong turn error. Both the app and the website unbelievably suck.

Android App has not allowed me to for about 3 months, even though the exact info works fine over the web. I have uninstalled, cleared the cache, cleared the storage, all repeatedly. It still gives a message that Hertz is having technical issues and please try back later. In light of this and other technical issues with Hertz - and after almost 40 years of rentals with them - it is time to move over to a competitor.

Avoid at all costs. The app allows you to book a reservation even if the location doesn't have any cars. Their customer relations department doesn't exist as I haven't heard anything about my complaint. Never using Hertz again
