The audio performances are *CRINGE-WORTHY*, especially given the price that you are paying for the pleasure of listening to them... No, thank you. Its a good concept, but I do not have enough time to read and can only listen to the articles whilst I do other things, so with the horrid reading quality, the experience is completely RUINED, and I cannot justify such an extortionate price for such poor quality product. Good luck with your concept, though. I hope it improves!

Good idea. Almost executed well. If I had an option to change the voices it would be great. I just can't listen to Isabelle Pinard (and Molli McConnell to a lesser extent) ending every sentence with the same 'up-down-up-down' tone. They read out so many of the books that I've had to skip most of them. I paid for the first month. Cancelled before the second.

It's timely and financially efficient, one can read up to 14 books a day that may cost up to 200$ in less than 6 hours with only 8$ a month. However, I am a kind of a person who feels an achievement in finishing a whole book, so this concise form isn't for me.One thing though, I wish the ed books would be played like a playlist, pulling up while driving(on commute) to play the next book isn't ideal. Unfortunately, I'll unsubscribe and delete because I can't pay for monthly subscription.

"...My point is, reduce your price, provide subscription options (such as monthly), or provide an alternative wherein people can use your app for free in exchange of watching ads." Update / Reply to the developer's comment: it's not that I don't want to pay. In fact, I believe that great apps like this should be ed. It's just too expensive, at least for me. Anyway, I wish you all the best and good luck! 😊

If I could give a zero, I would. I saw an ad for this app and it gave the impression that it was free with an option to purchase for more. The truth is, the app is not free. You can absolutely get a free seven day trial for setting up a new , but after that you have to subscribe to access virtually anything. While I appreciate the appeal of this app, I am not paying for you to paraphrase a book for me. The "value" created by this app is overshadowed by the cost. Uninstalled immediately.

I like the idea of this app but decided it wasn't for me. Be Careful! I cancelled during my free trial. But I keep getting emails & messages telling me I have to update my details so the payment will go through! Even months after I uninstalled app! And the messages say they have attempted to process the payment but it failed to go through. Again, this is months after I cancelled & uninstalled app!

I think this app serves a purpose but it's not for everyone. People who are not into reading books and wants things straight to the point then this is a great app and worth the 7.99/a month. They don't have much now but I like the variety of categories it had from politics to finance. They take a lot of popular books and defluff them. However I do like reading books and reading the condensed version takes away the author's personality and makes it harder to retain info (at least for me).

I wanted to try the 7 day trial and then if I liked it then take advantage of the monthly payment. Unfortunately the app tried to take a full yearly subscription from me straight away TWICE... unsubscribed and deleted, Can't actually tell you what the app is like... it sounds like a great concept but they've got to sort the payment stuff out first.
