What?? The annoying ads are horrible. What a bloatware! Can't uninstall too. I wish this wasn't the default video player for Xiaomi. I also want to turn off the notifications permanently. Nope. Just 90 days. I used it one time and I kept getting notifications randomly with push notifications off. Did you know how much I had to re update this? Never fixed. I had to completely erase all data to fix this.

This app and the Mi Gallery should've just been one app as a whole, whilst instead of being just a local video player it forces online features too hard on the , making it super counter intuitive as it has features you'd normally expect to be baked in on the gallery app, but opens as a seperate app when playing local videos and doesn't return to the gallery when a video finishes or push the back button.

The interface is frustrating and the ads are even worse. If you search up videos to watch online eg "cats" the ONLY stuff it shows you are shorts. I'm sick of tiktok-like features everywhere. Bring back videos of the normal format. And after you've watched a short it immediately pops up ads about some online game and if you touch the screen while the ad is playing the game just??? AUTOMATICALLY S 😭??? WHY

NEVER wanted to use this app. Installed by some Xiaomi system update or whatever. Forced itself to open up after every video I played in the gallery with a bunch of ads and nonsense I was not interested in. Complicated to remove and the settings are very surface level to make it harder to get rid of.

Such an intrusive app. There is no way to play a video with the built in gallery video player because it always wants to open stupid social content, something I don't want my 5 year old son to be exposed to when he watches our own videos. It is so annoying, together with the Carousel app that Xiaomi wants to shove on our phones at any cost (I stopped updating the phone for that) that I am sure the next phone won't be a Xiaomi.

Painful experience. This used to be a simple video player. Now, it isn't. It forces video recommendations from some cloud service instead of showing my own gallery. This is bloatware

It's used to be good, before it forced us to see random videos and ads for any video we make or watch, its very unfortunate, unconfortable and annoying. Tried to disable but it doesnt work at all even though a tutorial said it was possible to for 30 to 90 days, even that doesnt work for me. Its very sad because this is the default system video app from my phone.

Brilliant player! I installed this on my Motorola G84, as other players I tried, messed with my audio and distorted the sound where I had to uninstall them. To me, this player is the best for playing video and also audio because it improves the sound ten fold and amplifies it as well (becomes pretty loud).
