Been using for years but the most recent update is now draining my battery. It was responsible for 77% of my battery drain in a single 12 hour shift. Brand new Pixel 9 XL Pro. It seems like it's still running the camera after you've taken a picture as the green recording icon stays on in the upper right of the phone taskbar. This needs to be addressed.

10 free uses per day is pretty bad. I understand server costs are a thing but $25/mo is egregious. Especially when some (especially newer) devices have the hardware to do all of the computation on device. It would be nice if free on-device processing was an option. Obviously it would eat battery life, but that would be worth it. Especially if you're concerned about security, on-device processing is the way to go.

Was amazing, now it's terrible. Not long ago it was a simple app that you just load it up and take a picture of the pills. Helped with counting multiple trays at once to keep up on busy days. Unfortunately, there was a UI update that served no purpose than to take longer to load and add an extra button press, and now you can't even use the app without g up, more than likely just to have your email sold to rs. It was nice while it lasted.

Subscription based system now. 25/month is a hefty cost. App worked in the past for free, using AI and internet to take the photo, analyze it, and send back a fairly accurate count of the pills. The app requires a good internet connection to work fast, for both g in, and also taking the photos to analyze. Back then this used to be a free app, but now it seems like they limit you to 10 free uses per day and want $25 USD to do the same thing. Edit - they are buying 5 star reviews 9/29/23

Loved it for awhile. Then it started requiring every time you use it. I can see that being an option, but would be nice not to have to when I'm only using it now and then and don't store any info in it. Now starting about 3-4 weeks ago I can't even open the app! I tried updating the app and un/reinstalling but it won't open. Really disappointed.

Mmmm, actual rating would be 3.5/5 stars, but if you round up it's 4/5.. anyway. 10 free shots a day? That's a lil on the slim side, no? Sometimes you gotta retake the same pic multiple times so like.. 25/ day sounds fair. WOAH, when did the subscription become $25/ month?! Why do I paying like $10 in the past? Idk.. but bro. I'd definitely be down for $25 one time fee, cuz this app is very convenient & crucial in certain fields of work outchea.. overall dope minus the two cons ^

Would rate zero if possible. Worked well for 1 year, then started requiring for every use. Then, most recently started requiring a subscription of $25 a month to use for more than a handful of free counts. As someone that only needs it for a quarterly inventory count that's an obscene amount of money to pay. I'll go back to hand counting everything before giving any $ for this app.

The app is buggy and the UI is clunky and not smooth. Which was fine for a free app. The $25 a month for usage of this app is absolutely absurd. I do believe it's a brilliant app and the developer should be paid but it should be fair. You switched to being a paid app right in the middle of our q3 inventory for an animal hospital. What else did I find frustrating about this is that you used our input to train your AI. So we helped with the development technically and get hit with this cost?
