I have been using TT in last 10 years. General impression was always positive. Unfortunately every new recent update brings more new bugs. The latest causes the application to use internal storage of the phone, no matter what setup the enforces. Even when it says in configuration external memory on use, in reality it is the internal memory. With the huge capacity of maps it canabilises entire internal memory, even having only narrow selection of maps stored. So sad..

Navigation bar is now available on Android auto so that's awesome. Noticed some problems with the map. When traveling northbound on A71 in , between Clermont-Ferrand and Vierzon, the map reports a speed limit of 110 km/h on large portions of the highway, when it's actually 130. When traveling westbound on A85 between Vierzon and Tours, the Romorantin resting area does not show up on the navigation bar.

Usage on mobile is cringe in regards to zooming. It just zooms in too much too often, so I can't actually see the intersection on the map. Its especially bad when there's multiple intersections shortly after each other. Despite trying different options in regards to zooming. It'd be nice if one could set a minimum viewing distance of X amount of seconds based on avg speed or speed limit.

Can't believe how bad this app is. I wouldn't trust it to get me from my bedroom to the bathroom. I'm a commercial driver, and this app has dropped me into some really bad situations. I thought perhaps it just needed some updates, but now just sitting at home testing it on routes and locations I know well it just wants to take the worst route heading down established one way streets, preferring country lanes and 'no hgv' roads instead of byes and link roads...just shocking!

Using it couple of months now, and I regret to pay for the year licence. First, in the UK or whole Europe for truck drivers we should have option for quick select fo vehicle profile, like other apps do. Choosing 7.5t, 12, 18, 26, 32, 40, 44. I hate it to put my vehicle axle weights, width, and length in it every time I change vehicle, as a temporary agency driver. Also map is inaccurate, and don't even ask me where or what the "start and end" because I done hundreds routes and most of them bad

I have the app installed on my phone and Bluetooth it to Atoto. I prefer it to maps as the lane guidance system is better especially on freeway exits and multi lane exit points. One issue is that the map day night is in auto and it doesn't switch to either mode. It always stays on day mode. Also it says my subscription will be cancelled on Jan 2025 and I can't seem to renew it.

Although the app has a number of good points, notably the options to select route type and a much nicer default voice than Google Maps it is wrecked by inaccurate map data. For more than a year it has been convinced that Towcester in Northamptonshire has a southern by. It doesn't. They haven't built it yet. Nonetheless TomTom tried to route me round it yesterday. I have also in the past been directed down footpaths in my car. Why pay for this when Google is accurate and free?

I really like TomTom and have always used their sat navs but been let down recently. I used to have the tomtom go expert 7 but the battery on it died after 2 years and I can't even use it when plugged in usb. I purchased the TomTom app afterwards and it's really easy to use but it's taking me down some countryside lanes and residential streets where a 44 ton lorry really shouldn't be. If you miss an exit or you get a divertion a lot of the times I just get sent down a residential street.
