Legend has it that the old gods were the source of creation.

Lord God Strockanos, the god of the universe, created the Mekaa continent out of chaos and formlessness. He poured his own blood into this land, underneath its thick crust of rocks. The gods of agriculture, destiny and death are all guardians of Mekaa, and the source of arcane magic. Therefore God´s Blood and arcane magic form the essentials of life in this world.

Over the years, humans have become the "lords of all things" in Mekaa, from the original ancient clan of the Alrayans, the migrating Elruips, to the Normaasts who were "exiled" to the end of the world. Humanity has developed a variety of civilizations among mountains, on plains, or in the form of nomad tribes. Although there were conflicts between civilizations and different religions over time, the belief in the old gods, mainly Strockanos, has remained dominant.

However, the advent of the "new god" Indies introduced to Mekaa a new faith, and a new "era" for the whole continent and human civilization.

ABOUT THE GAME
Indies' Lies is a single-player game that combines deckbuilding with Roguelike and RPG elements. It features procedurally generated maps, diverse talent/rune/partner mechanics, and hundreds of cards for different classes to ensure a refreshing experience each run. Indies’ Lies also has a thick plot set in a medieval fantasy world, with story adventures for each character.

GAME FEATURES
- Fun for Beginners, Depth for the Experienced
With the hope to introduce the fun of the deckbuilding strategy to more players, we have adjusted and optimized traditional deckbuilding mechanics to create a smoother and more beginner-friendly gameplay. Meanwhile, more experienced players will find gameplay less restrictive yet challenging enough.

- Take 12 Characters with Unique Traits on a Roguelike Journey
Indies’ Lies now has 12 playable characters from 4 classes: Wizards, Rangers and Mechanists, with each character coming with a unique set of cards and talents. It will be a different journey each time on the procedurally generated maps, where you pick different cards, learn different talents, encounter different events and enemies. Explore the possibilities and find your favorite strategy!

- A Partner System to Spice it Up
Indies’ Lies puts you in command of a team of 1 hero and up to 2 partners. There are over 10 partners, all with distinctive cards and strengths. You can match the hero deck with hundreds of partners’ cards to try different tactics. Instead of acting as a mere tank, the partner brings on more room for flexible strategies and team tactics.

- Craft Your Talent Tree
A unique talent tree is procedurally generated for each run, and talents were designed to suit different classes and builds. There are over 200 talents in total, designed to meet the need for deck development at different stages and for different builds.

- Explore a Medieval Fantasy World
Step into Mekaa, a world caught in the clashes of Gods. By collecting clues for each character, you can unlock each story mode and dive into their quests, whether it is chasing a lost love, fighting the Seven Nightmares, or finding the culprit behind Mekaa’s fall into this dark frenzy.

Fun but takes some trial and error due to the translation. Some cards feel like they are missing text or don't accurately describe what they do. HOWEVER, this game is still very fun. I look forward to seeing some quality of life improvements before introducing more content.

Here, each of 5 classes shares a pool of cards and a feature among their characters, that are unique aesthetically and storywise, but only a little bit gameplay-wise (what really matters). Design choice was to make the deck compact and reduce RNG, it is beginner friendly but as an old hand it can be boring. The free game is very complete and DLCs are priced fairly for what they offer, bought 2 of them, but I felt the lack of a bundle. The other 2 DLCs I'll never buy otherwise (lack of interest).

A really a great mobile gaming mobile experience. Although, quite annoying when you need to open it with an internet since sometimes the signal is slow but after logging in can be played offline. Game is a simple roguelike card battle set in a medieval steampunk fantasy so my kind of genre. Having companions is also fun. Some clues are quite frustrating for a specific character. Overall, I enjoyed the game and the purchased of a DLC just because I wanna use Perry is worth it

An absolute gem of a mobile game. 100% recommendation to it! Even without paying, it's great fun and unlocking all content and removing all ads is only about 7€. That's a bargain for a great game like this. One star less for 2 major bugs in story mode. 2 character's stories are currently impossible to finish because of these bugs. Once this problem is solved I will gladly change the rating to 5 stars. Hope for even more content in the future. Would definitely buy it!

I want to like this game. There are major problems. Each round lasts on average an hour, I've beaten many since it does require skill but sometimes you'll start a round and by the end the luck factor will be so terrible you will lose no matter how good you are. It's unacceptable. Resurrecting does NOT help since you're thrown at the same enemy, same HP, same card order & draw, all odds stacked against you. The game also has Forced ADs along with "optional" but also forced gameplay related ADs.

I don't the last time I saw the screen of defeat.. That is until I bought the dlc, which I expected to work as intended. Imagine formulating a strategy only to have the code present itself as dysfunctional when it matters the most. Even if it wasn't, the final dlc is stunningly unbalanced, it's the opposite of power creep when it comes to the newly introduced characters. The game is amazing in all other regards. "Skip confirmation" option in settings please.

Its really fun, the graphics are great and the characters to choose from are all unique, I love the saving mechanics, its made so you can always back from where you left at, the prices for the DLCs seem fair too, what surprises me the most is how this game is free Its a really good turn based rogue-like, i personally liked it a lot

A surprise hit, i hope it gets the fame it deserves(prolly will with the pc release, streamers should eat this up). Fantastic gameplay thanks to an insane amount of USEFUL and interesting cards, smart combos, tons of events and enemies, diverse heroes and gorgeous art design. Also great to see the devs are actually active and listening/acting on . Very fair monetization too, basic game free with 2 dlc at about 3€. Only gripe are a few unclear skill descriptions and a bit to easy so far.
