HOW TO PLAY CANASTA
The goal of Canasta is to collect as many points as possible by drawing and removing peer cards. Unlike Rummy, Canasta is not about ending the game as fast as possible. To complete a round, you need a set of seven cards which is called natural Canasta. A mixed Canasta must contain at least four equal cards. The rest can be filled with wild cards. In addition to the Joker, all 2s are considered wild cards. The wild cards can replace any other card.

Just want to say, I rarely ever experience server or connection issues. Smooth, uninterrupted play 99.9% of the time. I've observed these results over 3 years and 4 different devices. Once in a while another player's connection will hang and slow the game a bit. The developers have included the option to switch from U to GPU in the Settings menu to fix connection/lag issues. Some s have obviously not yet discovered this. Not perfect, but it's the best Canasta app by far

I do not understand star rating at all, and no matter how poor a hand you have and how weird your partner is (like when they hold onto all of their cards the whole time, or when you have to always throw down your melds first and deplete your entire hand), I am losing more points than them, and gaining less points than them when I do well, like pick up the deck and save the game. It's ludicrous and I have to walk away from it, I can't have fun while being graded "Wow! It can't be"

Have ed numerous times previously. See response below. Be careful paying for with limited . The app is pretty good in general across most devices. However, I have to have two s because I am unable to with facebook on the chromebook android app for some reason. was not helpful. Having seperate s makes statistics and ranking irrelevant and less fun. Be careful purchasing until you are sure your works across all your devices.

Faulty in operation. You can literally abandon your partner but come back in time and not be penalized. I had met some great friends for the course of 6 months for it to be all taken away because i left games where players also left or played against me. Penalty on penalty lol, why play here? Also the timer is way too long. the chat bubbles can get super obnoxious when playing crybabies. They also are aware of how many to send per minute without block or report affecting them...

I love this game as much I like spades, plus also that game you get two hands of cards of 13 it might be more two games are about the same , my problem is I Can go out be but teammates say no , I in with one card but teammates not in their second hand of card , I like. Those 2,s plus freezing the pile ....

I like the game but twice I have not rec'd my purchase of chips and . Still no refund. There is no way to talk to anyone. Facebook won't help. Beware!

Update; Just programmed a game for 8 rounds (jst completed) only went to 4 rounds ! Reply... Sooo 30% of the imaginary chips go where???? To a useless cyber player? ? Red and green numbers for winning games make ZERO sense ...states 5vs winning 15; you win 8points ONLY!!! 5chips x 4players =s 20points in the pot then 2 winning players equals 10!!! n o t 8 points!!! Verrrry annoying! All number wins are the same illogical statement on the tables list, and vs the outcome's points haul! Amend it.

Could be so good - but unfortunately the developers seem to have a cowboy approach that benefits them financially. You can buy extra chips - v reasonably priced too - so what's the problem? The app goes through frequent periods of losing connection to the server (even if you are sitting next to your Wi-Fi router and/or have full bars for 4G). Often you can reconnect within a minute to the server (it's an annoyance but not the end of the world - even if you have to do this more than 20 times in the same game). However, sometimes the Canasta Servier issues are so bad that it just cuts you off completely - YOU LOSE YOUR CURRENT CHIPS that YOU have PAID FOR. Evidently it is not in the developer's interest to fix these types of bugs as these bugs generate more income for them. If you write and complain about the app's behaviour you just get a standard 'fob off' reply. Other: I'm guessing that this app is developed to be used on a tablet, as it is far too crowded with minute writing when used on a standard android phone. The last app update I received (13th November) has been the worst ever with the most frequent and severe dis-connections and very very buggy (picks up the wrong cards, won't let you discard, doesn't show all of the cards your opponents have put down).
