* To enable video casting please open the LG App Store (LG Smart World / LG Content Store) on your TV, search for 'TV Cast' and install the free companion app.

* To connect please scan the QR Code shown on your TV or enter the IP Address of your Android device by using the number pad and up/down/left/right keys or scroll wheel on your TV Remote.

* NOT ED Videos: Third party apps, Flash video, Google Play movies, Netflix, Amazon and HBO and other DRM protected videos web-videos, online-movies, livestreams and live-tv shows.

Genuinely pointless app. No features actually work, it's just a con to try and get you to buy one of the other apps, if this one worked even vaguely then I'd consider it. But, it's so entirely none functional I'd not trust them to deliver anything with the paid one. Save yourself the effort and don't even bother ing this app

In the last couple of days I cannot cast my own mp4 videos to my tv as the screen doesn't load. I have sound and I see the video name on tv but it doesn't show the video itself! I'm connected to wifi and not on power saving mode and the video plays fine on my phone

Connects, but doesn't cast. Pop up asks if the video worked, but there isn't a 'No' option. It loops you into watching ads to try again instead. Wants you to upgrade for a price, but who wants to do that if the basic version doesn't work? Uninstalling.

Terrible app, requires extra purchases (which I was aware of from reading reviews) was willing to put up with a sub-par app and paying for the extras if it worked but couldn't even cast properly to my TV. Don't even bother

Does not work, my guess is that you HAVE to use the paying app for this to work, because with the free one whenever I wanted to cast a program the only thing that worked was the ment, it was literally impossible to cast a show or video or anything

This is the worst app I have ever used. Everything good is locked behind a paywall. You cannot screenshare the things you want to and if you do, you have to pay for another app. Also way too many ads. This is literally the worst app I have ever used.

Its useless unless you pay. While almost all TV's offer casting free anway. Also the price is 10 times what anyone would ever pay for it. Laughable.

I've been using the paid app version for a couple of years and it's been working great, definitely worth the one-off payment. However, the latest update (apparently only "bug fixes" no longer allows you to access youtube online and sends you straight to the mobile app. Unfortunately this means battling through more ads I was hoping to avoid by using the paid ad-free version. I'm under the impression that if you have only recently added this feature that it can be removed. Deeply disappointing!
