Great app! Extremely stable & flexible yet easy to use. The default settings are good enough for general copying or backup to a NAS / Cloud, but with the extensive options one can do very specific magic: all kinds of specific copying / backups / file culling etc. I've used this on my Galaxy S7 for a long time, and now on my alternate phone (S8): no interventions required and everything works like a charm! Finally on my Galaxy S10, and it's running flawlessly too.

Update 2024: Remains one of the very few apps I use almost daily. This rsync wrapper does the job quite nicely and has plenty of options. Update Oct 2015: has become rock solid so upgrading rating to a 5. JUL2015: So far so good. Would be 5 stars except that I've seen a few times when updated files wouldn't sync. Not enough data yet to find trend for this seeming error. However having one button press to sync music, photos, data, whatnot to/from my server is very convenient.

Pretty neat. It's great that FolderSync Pro is eligible for the family library, so that you can easily set up sync jobs on all your family devices. FolderSync Pro might be more useful than the native app for your cloud storage. It's much better than the pCloud app because you can sync any folder from anywhere to anywhere, one-way or two-way. The built-in browsing function is very useful. The UI looks good and is easy enough. You can even schedule backups from internal storage to a SD card. 👍

I've been using this FolderSync for many years. I'd say 10+. the reason I keep using it is that it is extremely flexible. you can sync some from your phone to and from almost anywhere. my most "completed" setup syncs files from a computer, to my phone and then to a NAS. I also use it to sync photos from my pixel 8 to a NAS so my pixel 1 can then from the NAS - and then my pixel 1 s them to Google using Google photos - and all pictures/videos are backed up at 100% quality

very useful for ing entire directories full of contents to cloud services it is also a great tool for providing the ability to sync directories which content is constantly changing and or being updated money very well spent on this app I would recommend it to anyone who has a large amount of files of all types on their phones and who wants to sync it to the cloud for a backup and or redundancy highly recommended for anyone that wants to things like music collections Etc to the cloud

Great compared to most other options, but doesn't syncing syncing subfolders within a folder, so its pretty much useless in a lot of cases, unless you want to go and set every individual subfolder to sync on its own.

Already making it easier for me to back up my phone. No more rooting around in Windows seeing what's already copied and what isn't. Great software; I'll probably use it in my chromebooks too.

One of the bests, I use it for backups mostly. SADLY, complains exists: 1) custom order of tasks not respected when they exist for a same time, 2) no UI for in case of accidental task changes, 3) V2 has few less options than V1, 4) no conflict actions exists for one way syncs with sync deletions (thus won't delete new/untracked target items, but marked as conflict), 5) no retry for missed/failed V2 schedules 💩 6) WiFi-only tasks insta fail sometimes probably as deep sleep turned it off
