Updated review since 2023...application still doesn't work properly. I do not use the app to complete my course work but I would like to access my class if needed. The app freezes up constantly. I saw the latest update was July 3rd, I honestly cannot tell.

[Edit] I can't forms I need. Beyond replying to classmates & checking notifs, this app is just a reader.] The mobile browser version holds up better than this app. It has enough lag via loading time to make me feel impatient, while the mobile browser performs in a more optimized manner. Both desktop & mobile browsers don't load student's profile pictures, even on Firefox with no adblock. This app is fine for basic viewing, but I predict I'll be using the mobile browser more often.

Update November 2023: since the course room shift to Canvas the app is barely functional. I can no longer load course discussions and replies or read and type peer responses. This is a waste of an app. Keep crashing. When it works it is ok. It could absokutely interface more smoothly but for the last few weeks every time I do anything I get a program is not responding notice. Sometimes I can ignore it and love on but it happens after every single interaction with the app.

This app requires significant improvements to be representative of the university. It fails to distinguish Capella as an outstanding, mostly online, university. Students should be able to be proficient with their coursework with the aid of this software. Unfortunately, it is entirely ineffective at much of what is expected of a university classroom app. Please improve on the functionality so that it can be a gem in Capella's cap rather than a blemish.

I have had problems with the Capella mobile app since the first time I tried to use it. I have been getting a notification that the app has "bugs" and that I should log back into it after the developer fixes them. Sadly, students, including myself, have paid an insane amount of money and invested countless hours continuing our education. The mobile app doesn't measure up! It simply doesn't deliver. Fix the "BUGS" please, I'd appreciate being able to and complete my assignments! Ty

Lucky you get 1 star as a student paying as much as I am the app should work absolutely pitiful and pathetic. And apparently the app owners do not care the app doesn't work deleted and just using the browser. THANKS FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. WHAT A WASTE

The only real reason to actually need the app is for the coursework and you can't access that at all. The notifications you can't see and everything else just takes you to the browser anyways. You're better off just using your browser instead of the app.
