This version of the app is really nice. I think everything is an improvement over the previous. Better ui graphics, slimmed down sections, usage graphs navigate better, and the bills/activity is now useful. Add real time market rates for solar buyback and you've got a winner. Update: just keeps getting better. was taken seriously and Im so glad to see how well they were able to implement those nice-to-haves. Every interaction Ive had with them has been forthright & friendly.

I only use this for taking readings, but I really find two things strange: 1. If you switch the phones torch on while taking your reading, the confirmation screen disables it. Why? I may still be wanting to look at the physical meter 2. The same confirmation screen has numbers in the doodles in its background. I do not want to see random numbers anywhere if I'm busy making sure a reading is correct. I understand they are supposed to represent filled in readings, but they are distracting :)

It's a decent app, but something seems to have changed recently that means it no longer manages to properly control my car charging. I've followed the advice of the IT people from Octopus who responded to my query about this. But even after removing all other charging settings and redoing the link to the car, or still always charges to 100%, despite being set at 80% (and it worked great for a year before no longer working properly)

Since the latest update I can no longer see the charging schedule for my car. When I tap on "Devices" > "Schedule created" nothing happens. It seems to want to render something on the screen (it flashes very quickly if you pull down) but it doesn't show it.

Was good, but stopped receiving notifications of smart charging schedules in the last couple of weeks. Also, smart schedule doesn't always get set so my EV charges at peak rate. Other times, schedule is created but doesn't get triggered, so EV doesn't get charged. CS give me the impression that I'm alone in getting these issues, but other reviews on here show that it is more widespread. Octopus really need to fix this as it would be a great product if it worked reliably.

This is quite useful for day to day monitoring of my energy consumption and for historic comparisons. However, I find it irritating that the usage graphs are automatically rescaled for each day/week/month that I look at. This makes it much harder to correctly see the difference in consumption between two views (at equivalent points in each view). Yes, the total energy and cost figures are provided, but I'd like to be able to lock the scaling sometimes. Many thanks.

In the recent updates, I've stopped getting notifications for smart charging schedules on both my phone and tablet. I'm also having loads of trouble changing the charge target and ready by times - I input different details and they're not saved. Other than car charging, the app is pretty good. I prefer to use the website for information, as it's quicker to find e.g. today's tracker cost.

We are new to Octopus and are finding it a refreshing change from the other energy company we were with! So different and good! Using the app seems straight forward but as an Economy 7 customer we can't see where to add the required two meter readings - Rate 1 and Rate 2. Wondered if it's a problem with the app or I just can't find that bit.
