The Powder Toy is now on Android! This time it is officially ed, completely free, and slightly optimized for touchscreen devices instead of the traditional mouse and keyboard Powder Toy is usually run with. The Powder Toy is a free physics sandbox game, which simulates air pressure and velocity, heat, gravity and a countless number of interactions between different substances! The game provides you with various building materials, liquids, gases and electronic components which can be used to construct complex machines, guns, bombs, realistic terrains and almost anything else. You can then destroy them and watch cool explosions, add intricate wirings, play with little stickmen or operate your machine. You can browse and play thousands of different saves made by the community or your own – we welcome your creations!
The game is very resource intensive. A powerful phone is recommended to play it properly. Button sizes have been increased in many places, but you might need a large phone screen or a tablet in order to have a better experience. If you find a feature that is hard to use on a touchscreen, or is absent from the Android version of the game, leave some by clicking the bug icon in game or making a post on the forums.
It is fully compatible with the PC version of the game, saves made in one version can be loaded in the other.

Update to TPT 99.3
Important App Update: Many people have reported critical bugs on certain Samsung phones with cursor lag. This update does not fix those. Thankfully, a new complete Android rewrite is in the works that will fix all these bugs (already tested and confirmed), and bring in a better UI. We hope to have it ready sometime in 2025.

Honestly this game is insane. I have never seen so many options to choose from. At first, I thought I was looking at all of it. But there is a scroll wheel with like 12 different TYPES of elements, with each having either a full list of elements or even a scrollable list of elements. Also being honest. I have no clue how to use 90% of the elements in this game. Every element has different reactions to every other element. This game goes DEEP with its logic. I dont have enough letters to explain

Create anything from U microarchitecture to enormous fusion reactions. This application is seriously underrated for all the physics it simulates. Plus, it's free, with no ads, and completely open source! Try it and see what you can create or view one of the tens of thousands of s created by others.

i played this all the time, but then had to stop because the game got really laggy. it would randomly freeze and everything was delayed. it even got to the point where i couldnt access my anymore. today i opened the app and IT WAS NOT LAGGY ANYMORE! i didn't switch phones either, and i got my back, so that's amazing. this is a great game and a nice thing to play if you are bored

The game worked fine until I updated it. Now I keep getting an error stating I need to go to your website. TpT for a manual update to a newer version ? I thought that's what this update was for on here, Not only that but I decided to go to the website to see if it would help and no it didn't. Can you fix this I thinks its a bug in the game. Overall it's a very fun game. I enjoy it more then Dan ball sandbox. Edited comment= Okay got it thanks it works now!😂.

I was genuinely impressed by all the options available! I've tried many sandboxes of this type, but none ever had as many options as this! I love all the different elements, interactions, the fact everything is sorted neatly by type of element (like solids, liquids, explosives, etc) and there are A LOT of tools and options to play with. Was unsure at first but as I kept playing around I discovered more and more fun combos and so far I'm having a blast!

Game is AWESOME! Both mobile and desktop. However I feel like it's missing one thing, and I think maybe another review pointed it out. Rubber. As air pressure goes up on the inside, it bends out. And the thicker it is the harder it is to bend. And maybe make it so it can tear. I don't know how hard it would be to implement, so if it's too complicated, I don't really care. I'd just really like to make balloons and explode them

Powder toy is a great game, and my favorite physics simulation game. It has everything you could want in a sandbox game, the only problem is, is that it's best played on a computer, this is a mobile port. The reason why I gave it 2 stars is because everything feels awkward and out of place on a phone, all the buttons and text are super tiny and hard to hit with precision, you can't be precise of where you want to put something, and overall it feels clunky and awkward, and ruins the experience.

5 stars only because it introduced me to The Powder Toy and because you can use it to view creations for ideas while you're on the go. Other than that, it's nearly impossible to do anything except mess around with blobs of stuff on the mobile version. The only thing I see possible to make this game usable is adding a curser that can be moved around and buttons to simulate the mouse buttons. Standard touch is nowhere near accurate enough to be viable here.
