I've enjoyed the KXAN weather app for several years until recently. The radar page loads faster than most others and the widgets used to be useful. Widgets now take up WAY too much home screen space and are no longer resizable. A 2x2 3-day and 2x2 hourly would be great but they don't work now 😢. Also seems like there is less data available for Bastrop/Elgin than was available last year. Uninstalling 😑

I've used this app for years and it's always been 5☆, until recently. I love seeing the current temp in my notifications. Now, it tells me the weather, ie "mostly cloudy" or "sunny", etc. I've done everything I could think of to fix it, but to no avail. This was a bug feature for me, so that's why I've lowered my score to 3☆

Just an excellent weather app, the most accurate I've ever used, as accurate as humans can get at predicting temperatures and weather patterns, etc...shout out to Jim Spencer!!! My favorite weatherman, which are 3 words I never thought I'd say but he's a living legend IMO. I love the hour by hour feature, the times both the sun and moon will rise and set. KXAN Austin's weather team has always been one of, if not THE most reliable weather and general local news source in Austin. 😎✌️💚

This app is okay, but would benefit from a different approach, in my opinion. Like the website, it autoplays videos, such that you will see irrelevant forecasts after the first one that comes up. Less could be more. The app is gaudy and ad-heavy. I don't mind ads, but they shouldn't blow up my phone with the same noisy jingle once every minute or so. Slow loading, eats power, too many notifications. Simplify, streamline, speed, and make easier to use at a glance. I prefer kxan, wish app was A+

Hi! Could someone please fix the sound levels on the app? The ads are easily heard, but then even when making my phone as loud as the speakers will handle, I have to put my ear to the phone to be able to hear the weather forecasters speaking. But that makes it so I can't see the graphics they are talking about. Can the actual KXAN videos please be as loud as the ments? I tried emailed the developer, and it bounced back as blocked. Thanks!

I've used this app for years, but for the last month or so, it's no longer working. When I open it, it doesn't show current conditions, and sometimes absolutely nothing shows on the radar screen, even when I expand the view to include the entire country or world map. I tried uninstalling it from my phone, then installed again. No difference. I tried clearing all of the data and cache, but that doesn't help either.

More of an annoyance than anything. While the notifications can be turned off, when they are turned on, they will hammer you constantly. I have had 10 notifications in the past hour regarding the Tornado Watch that is in effect. Notify me there is a Tornado Watch fine, but don't keep sending out numerous other notifications. I thought reinstalling this app after I got annoyed with it previous was right, apparently I was wrong. Bye By KXAN

The NBC chimes drive me nuts!!!!! I've had this app for several years without complaints. Like many other apps, I had notifications for this app blocked but somehow, they have circumvented that system. Several weeks back I started getting this loud NBC chime sound. I use an earbud and all sounds are supposed to play through it but not this one. It blares out loudly over the speaker, again despite notifications are blocked. It took some real detective work to find this guilty party, KXAN. Goodbye!!!
